About the
Metropolitan League

New York City's first competitive inter-borough pickleball league — bringing the city's independent clubs under one banner.

What it is

One city. One league.

The Metropolitan League is a single, professionally-run competition that connects New York's best independent pickleball clubs — turning casual club play into real, watchable, borough-vs-borough rivalry.

Founded in 2026 and operated by Dink Dynamics, the league exists for a simple reason: the community and competitive energy of NYC pickleball deserves a real stage. Where the big-box clubs offer courts, the Metropolitan League offers a season — programming, coaching, standings, and a reason to show up every week and represent your turf.

Year one is inter-borough. Year two and beyond, the league expands across the Tri-State region.

Why now

The sport is winning

Pickleball is the #1 fastest-growing sport in America three years running — and New York is its most underbuilt major market. Players want a home that's competitive and community-driven. The Metropolitan League is that home.

The story so far

The inaugural match

On June 5, 2026, the Hell's Kitchen All Blacks beat the Red Hook Hookers in the league's inaugural match. The night delivered: 300+ courtside, 5,000+ social reach, and a clear signal that New York is ready for this.

Community

From the schools to the league

The league is built to give back. Through Pickleball Stars, we run free youth programming in NYC schools; through Sunday Afternoons, we open the courts to the next generation with free play and multi-year mentorship. School nights feed each borough's club — a real pipeline from the playground to the pro tier.
